Mansfield, Ohio is a great city to visit with kids – especially in the summer. There are so many fun things to do! One of our favorite things is the new(ish) outdoor splash pad at the YMCA.

The splash pad is the perfect day trip for young children! I’d recommend a visit for kids aged 1-10. Bigger kids can enjoy the massive bucket dump, while toddlers will be happy to run around and enjoy the water. If kids tire of the splash pad, an adjacent playground adds an extra dimension of fun.
There is plenty of seating for Moms and Dads who would like to get a tan and a few picnic tables for those who want to pack a lunch. Restrooms are located inside the Y.

The Splash Pad is open from Memorial Day- Labor Day. Check the YMCA website for hours.
Current admission prices are: $3.00 for kids 12 and under, $5.00 for ages 13 and up, and $30 for a family pass (up to 6 family members).
The Mansfield YMCA is located at: 750 Scholl Rd, Mansfield, Ohio. Phone # 419-522-3511.
